These are the rules of G-2 Wrestling. We may seem strict but we have to be strict to keep it fun, otherwise things could turn nasty. We are keen to enforce our rules and if you break them, you will be warned. If you continually do so, you will be fired. But please bear in mind that we do wish for you all to have fun without breaking the rules, so read, follow, and enjoy:

About G-2 Wrestling
G-2 Wrestling is set up as a small independent wrestling organisation based out of Galveston, Texas which broadcasts a weekly television show show from a small studio paid for by G-2 Wrestling President Jimmy Chisel. This is not a powerful world wide organisation, just a small local promotion, so production is low. This should be taken into account when writing RPs and entrances.
The studio contains an area for interviews, a desk for the announcers an alise from the entrance to the ring and a small video screen. Whilst there is some lighting, pyrotechnics are limited to non-existant, maybe on the occasional Pay-Per-View and SuperShow. We ask you keep this in mind as we would like to keep the regional small time feel.
Poser Rule
We have one rule about our posers (that is a picture to represent your charcter), try and not pick a WWE wrestler as these images are subject to copyright and to use them without permission is illegal. The best advice we can give you is try to use a poser which is not instantly recognisable to a lot of people.
Characters Rule
This is a new rule designed to encourage people from switching characters often. A process which is quite irritating for booking purposes and also isn't very beneficial to the handler of the character's prospects.
If you wish to change characters in G-2 you must ask permission from a member of staff personally. If you wish to have a second character along with the character you first signed up with you will also need staffs permission. You can not handle more than two characters on a full time basis at one time. If you do handle two characters at once you must be prepared to do enough RPing to justify it.
You may not chop and change your character without valid reason. The one you sign up with initially is the only character you will be allowed to have if you do not provide a valid reason to the staff. Regular changing of character with no rhyme or reason makes it very difficult for the staff to involve you in storylines.
On the same note, we do not approve of people signing up as new characters and pretending to be different people, especially if they have caused trouble in the past. This will result in you being banned from G-2.
Roleplaying Rules
1. The key to winning matches to Roleplay (RP). In G-2 a successful Roleplay is one that promotes the match it is designated for. If your match Roleplay is irrelevant to the match you are booked in then the staff are within their rights to not count it towards the match.
2. Do not post Out of Character comments in your Roleplay, or make Out of Character Posts anywhere on the RPing forum.
3. The majority of the those already in G-2 use BBCodes to add color to their RPs. This is suggested but not 100% required of you.
4. The Roleplay Deadline is 00.00 EST (05.00 GMT) on the day before the results (Thursday for Full Throttle/SuperShows, Saturday for PPV). Any RPs posted after this time will not be counted.
5. You must post at least ONE Roleplay when booked. This is the minimum expectation, there is no upper limit but we can suggest that one or two good RPs will be sufficient and more appreciated than seven bad RPs.
6. If you fail to RP for a match without a valid excuse the chances of you getting booked regularly will decrease and you will likely move down the card. Especially if this is a frequent occurrence.
7. Respect other peoples characters. Do not attack them without permission. Do not write dialogue or actions for them unless they have your consent. You are free to trash talk with them, engage in in-character debates etc. But if you wish to have any more interaction it is suggested you plan it with the handler of your opponent.
8. Occasionally you will lose, please do not take it as a personal affront if you do. Sometimes a match is lost via angle/storyline (usually indicated in the results by a run in or cheating). Clean defeats are rarely if ever angle related.
9. RPing near the deadline ('Sandbagging') is outlawed - as a result ONE RP will be permitted in the FINAL 24 HOURS (00:00 Wednesday - 00:00 Thursday) of the deadline. That is universal (so if you leave it till deadline day to RP you can only RP once).
10. As of September 2009 there is a limit of 2 RPs for Full Throttle and 3 for Pay-Per-Views, except as stated above if you have not RPed between posting of card (Saturday) and Wednesday.
General OOC Etiquette
We encourage you to have a lot of fun but and you are encouraged to join in, with the threads, games and friendly banter that goes along with being part of the G-2 Community. However, we do take seriously anyone who will do anything that may cause offence or disrupt the harmony within G-2.
1. Please be respectful of others beliefs. We will not accept any racist or religious comments in our community.
2. Keep up with the announcements and anything that specifically says “Please Read” or anything similar. Often this will be about rule changes or other fed announcements and you should not allow these to pass you by.
3. Don’t OOC in the RP forum.
4. The Shoutbox is not a means for communication with the staff. It can be difficult to keep track of shouts so do not use it as a means of informing us of absences or anything else that we will need to be made aware of. There are several other, better ways to contact the staff (via PM, IM, E-mail or forum post)
5. Any abuse or outbursts on the Shoutbox may lead to the Shoutbox being disabled for at least a week.
6. If you cannot keep a civil tone during disagrements and verbally abuse either staff, fellow roster members or anyone who posts on our forums you will be given a forum warning/find yourself no longer a part of G-2.
7. Please give each other and the fed feedback. We like to know what you think of the shows so do give them reviews. Also give your fellow fed-members feedback, pointers and constructive critiques in the Feedback Forum. We would all like to help each other get better and help the fed as a whole improve.
eFed-Etiquette
1. Please if you have an angle (storyline) that you would like to do – tell us. Send the staff a PM or an email or catch one of us on MSN and talk to us about it. If you don’t pitch us ideas then you will never know what we will do. Generally if we don’t get ideas from people we just go a head and book them in whatever angles we can think up. The best way of pitching an angle is to lay out a plan of what you want to do each week. (Say over a four-six week period) and submit it to the staff. We want your ideas, but please remember that if it conflicts with something someone else has already planned or long term plans of the staff then it may need to be changed. We can’t suit everyone but we will try to get the best compromise.
2. The staff will take any constructive criticism on board. However we will not accept any disrespect on the forums, if something is bothering you please talk about it in private to either Jimmy Chisel or Logan Gable. Both are usually available. They will to their best to help you. The staff will not engage in mud slinging on the forums or elsewhere. Although we would prefer if any and all disputes were settled behind closed doors in a mature manner, this is the preferred option as public arguments are not good for fed morale.
3. Please respect the efforts of everyone who helps put a Full Throttle/SuperShow/Pay-Per-View together. It can take hours, weeks, even months to draw a show together and we would like you to take that into account. A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes to make sure G-2’s results are on time and presented well so please respect that
4. If you wish to contribute a segment or write a match, please follow the guidelines provided in the Feedback Forum and try if you can to code it using HTML. This just makes the job of the person who puts the shows together easier. Also please try and get matches and segments in before results day. If you do not produce a match or a segment that was scheduled for a show it effects the quality of the results.
5. The OOC forum is for G-2 related discussion; all things relating to your character can be discussed here except asking for feedback on your RPs. You can post here about leaving or taking time off.
6.. If you can't Roleplay for any amount of time for a genuine reason, please tell us via the OOC forum. If however you don't Roleplay for a substantial amount of time then you will be either taken off the roster. If you are inactive for no reason for a substantial length of time you will be released from the roster.
We rarely feel the need to fire/remove anyone. We will generally try to work any issues out if we can. If you obey the rules which are set down here you’ll do fine
The final and most important rule in G-2: Have fun!
